The scope of this project was to build new water injection piping from the tank farm to the injection pump. With the use of the 3D scan, we were able to model the piping to the as-built conditions of the plant.
Project Outcomes
The 3D scan reduced the amount of field time required by contractors to measure the tie-in piping. Cornerstone was able to route the piping and tie-into the termination points within the CadWorx model, while ensuring there were no clashes between the new piping and the existing facility.
